MRF (or Malware REpository Framework)<\/a> is a all-in-one website framework<\/strong> intended to be used by malware researchers or companies to store and classify the threats<\/strong> they are gathering from different sources (SPAM, honeypot, etc…).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new release (V4.2)<\/strong> is bringing a whole lot of new features and bugfixes<\/a>, including a Sample page<\/strong>, a comments editor and users permissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

User permissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
User permissions have been added to restrict, allow, people to perform some actions<\/strong> like uploading files, download files, modify information, etc. Now with MRF 4.2 you can fine tune users capabilities<\/strong> to keep control on your repository.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sample Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The sample page has been added to display new information (currently only SHA256) regarding a sample<\/strong>, and to have a quick way to share a sample<\/strong> with your co-workers (with a link). We are also introducing a way to add more interesting features like Hex editor, PE parsing information or disassembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
