WHAT IS THAT TECHNICIAN VERSION?
In the installable version of UCheck, we’ve also shipped a separate updater program. If you are a registered user, UCHeck will self execute that updater when needed to avoid you to return on the official website and download the new version by yourself.
In UCheck Premium, you can configure the software to check for updates every 30 (60, 90, …) minutes, and notify you with a tray popup. That way you just need to run it at startup and forget it, it will check for updates for you.
Command Line Interface
UCheck Premium (Tech only) provides the ability to be controlled from a console, by passing arguments to automate the process of updating or installing software. Please refer to the documentation to learn more about this feature.
In UCheck Premium (Tech only), it’s given the ability (in settings) to define a cache folder location. With this, every download that is done is also copied into that folder for later use. This can be very useful in case you need to deploy always the same set of application on multiple machines: Just configure the cache on a USB key, or network share, and the subsequent installations will be done very fast.
